The PoultrySouth Team is comprised of 20+ members that focus on marketing poultry farms daily. We have one focus that drives everything we do. Help Poultry Farmers. One of the best ways that we can do that is helping poultry farmers and potential poultry farmers understand the lending process. One of the biggest problems we see is that poultry farmers and lenders seldom speak in the same terms. One thinks something is very important while the other may think that same thing is well down the list of importance, or of no importance whatsoever. We work to help borrowers and sellers understand the poultry farm from the lender’s vantage point, and help the lenders understand the specific nuances of the individual farm, the buyer’s needs, and the seller’s needs. The PoultrySouth Team is uniquely positioned to be a facilitator in the transaction that helps to keep it moving in the right direction. No one else provides this service on the level that the PoultrySouth Team does. It takes years of experience to make that happen.

The PoultrySouth Team works hard to pre-qualify buyers BEFORE they ever go to a farm, so that when the deal gets to the lender, there is a good chance it’s one that will work for buyer and lender. This is in everyone’s best interest. Buyers, Sellers, Agents, Lenders, Integrators…all benefit from the work we do upfront with buyers to make sure they have a good chance of making a deal work. We are only able to do this because of the years of experience with so many successful, and failed, transactions.
We work with integrators to help with income projections, required updates and repairs, letters of intent, verifications, title work, plans, permits, and anything else needed to help the lender move a deal forward.

- Many other aspects like timing of closing, ownership of shavings, litter, gases, fuels, contractual requirements of buyer and seller with regard to permits, financial disclosures, and more.
PoultrySouth’s contracts are designed to keep the entire process flowing smoothly to everyone’s advantage. Our PoultrySouth Team is ready to step up and do the work too. We don’t view this process as handing the ball off to you once the contract is signed, then you just call us for a commission check. Our team knows that the most work in a poultry farm transaction is between contract and closing… not the simple signing of a contract.
