Little River Poultry Farm
The Little River Poultry Farm is located in Taliaferro County, Georgia near the town of Crawfordville. The farm was built in 2011 and has two 40×432 pullet houses. There is acreage to expand the poultry operation should the new owner choose to do so. The farm currently raises pullets for Harrison Poultry. This farm is paid by the square foot and has a consistent pay as long as birds are present. This farm can easily gross $85,000 per year. Per square foot pay is $.051. Harrison Poultry pays for the washdown of the houses and all of the shavings when they are needed.
This farm has 15+/- acres. There is a site where a new mobile home or site-built home can be easily added.
Raising pullets for breeder hens is a very unique part of poultry integration. The work load on the grower is not as great most of the flock. This farm will raise two flocks per year with around 4-6 weeks of out time between flocks.

No visitors are allowed on the farm unless a PoultrySouth team member is present. All visitors must be qualified with a minimum of $100,000 down payment. A PoultrySouth team member can assist you with qualifying. There will be no entry into the poultry houses while birds are present. Inside viewing of the houses can be arranged at the appropriate time. This farm is a bio-secure area.
